Purpose

This collection will cover parallel computing foundations, architectures, algorithms, and programming models. It is also the long-term home for notes related to Monash University FIT3143.

Current Reading Path

The collection currently acts as a stable index for future parallel-computing notes. The first durable pages should start from hardware execution models, memory hierarchy, and the difference between task, data, and pipeline parallelism.

Planned Areas

  • Parallel architectures and memory models
  • Shared-memory programming
  • Distributed-memory programming
  • GPU and accelerator programming
  • Parallel algorithms
  • Performance analysis and scalability

Scope

This page stays deliberately small until the underlying notes become concrete enough to link. New entries should be added as bilingual note pairs when possible, so the category remains navigable from both language surfaces.
